JASPINDER NARULA

Jaspinder Narula is a famous singer. The powerful-voiced singer shot to fame after a duet ‘Pyar to hona hi tha’ with Remo Fernandes.
Jaspinder’s tryst with singing began early. Her father K.S. Narula was a music composer of 1950s. Initially Jaspindar Narula kept away from film singing and specialized in singing bhajans and Sufiana compositions. She finally moved to Mumbai a few years later. She got a few assignments to sing for films, but she largely went unnoticed.
A fairly good break came in 1997, when music director Anu Malik offered her an assignment in ‘Viraasat’ for which she recorded a duet with Kumar Sanu. From then on, there was no stopping to Jaspinder who went on to reocord for the industry’s top-notch music directors.
She sang for films like ‘Dulhe Raja’, ‘Mission Kashmir’, ‘Mohabbatein’ and ‘Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha’. She is at ease with all kinds of musical, be it devotional films songs, pop, western of classical.
